“Sharing the Story of Slavery

at Bulloch Hall

During regularly scheduled tours.

The house displays many

of the daily chores of slaves

in mid 1800’s Bulloch Hall.

This exploration of slavery begins at the

Bulloch Hall

slave quarters with stories

from children’s literature depicting life

as an enslaved person in the 1800’s.

The tour continues into the Big house

and is presented from the

perspective of the slaves.

For visitors 8 to adult.

Presented by the Bulloch Hall Quilt Guild

Over 200 quilts of all varieties will be on display throughout the house.

Self-guided tours, Mon - Sat. 10 a.m., Sun. 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Admission is $8 adults, $7 seniors, $6 children

 

Buy the Book - Meet the Author!

A new book, "A Quilt Block Challenge: Vintage Revisited" will be available at Bulloch Hall on March 14.

The Bulloch Hall Quilt Guild will be sponsoring an

afternoon tea, Sunday, March 14 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. The public is invited to come meet Mary Kerr,

author and curator of "Vintage Revisited"

Go Wild in Roswell at Bulloch Hall Exhibit

This show is sponsored by Roswell Photographic Society and Friends of Bulloch, Inc., it

is an open juried Photographic Exhibit that anyone may enter.

All images must be of plants and animals taken on the Bulloch Hall property.

Individuals may enter up to four 8”x10” images in a 9x12 envelope for

judging (deadline March 19). Prizes will be awarded.

There is a $20 entry fee; Photographers may walk the Bulloch Hall trails

and property, free of charge. 

The exhibition will be available May 20 – June 6,

during Bulloch Hall hours of operation and will be included with the

Go Wild In Roswell Photographic Exhibit

at Bulloch Hall

Go Wild!

Bulloch Hall and the Roswell Photographic Society present a Go Wild photographic exhibit. This juried show of creatures, critters and all things of the great outdoors (at Bulloch Hall) will be on display in Bulloch Hall May 20 – June 6.  The exhibit is included in the regularly scheduled tours. Come see the wild side of Bulloch Hall! The reception and awards presentation is May 27, 6:30 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The 25th Annual Magnolia Ball

"Bringing it Home for the Silver Anniversary"

Bulloch Hall celebrates the Magnolia Ball’s

Silver Anniversary on June 5, 2010.

7 oclock in the evening,

$150 per reservation,

Black tie

Magnolia Ball Chair, Peter Abreu and the Magnolia Ball Committee

are planning a very special evening.

The Ball will be held on the grounds of Bulloch Hall for

this spectacular event.


World renowned designer, Tony Brewer of Tony Brewer and Company will

create a tented evening of elegance for us all to remember!


Roswell’s Talk of the Town will prepare delicious food for us to enjoy.

Our evening will begin with cocktails on the grounds and continue with dinner

and dancing as well as a silent and live auction.


Proceeds from this fundraising affair will go toward recreating the 1840’s service

yard and the construction of the buildings which formed it. The original site had

two slave cabins (one of which has been reconstructed) and a carriage house.

This addition will enhance the tours and the visitors experience at Bulloch Hall.
